Dr. Donald Andersen, MD
Urology
Dr. Andersen has been practicing Urology in Chester County since 1994. He holds an AB cum laude from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1989. At Jefferson he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, the Hobart Amory Hare honor medical society, and received the Merck clinical award in Surgery and the E. Harold Hinman Prize in Family Medicine. He completed a residency in Urology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Dr. Andersen is currently on Active Staff at The Chester County Hospital, Brandywine Hospital where he is chief of Urology, and Paoli Hospital. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery for Urologic Cancers and performs Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostate Surgery along with Laparoscopic Kidney Surgery.
